About iLiv Constructions
Peter Downham, along with his wife Vanessa, founded Downham Developments in 2002. With many years of experience in the construction industry; the natural progression was to operate a growing company producing quality ‘one-of-a-kind’ homes.
Starting from a small home-based office, Downham Developments quickly gained momentum, working largely from client and industry associate referrals. Peter’s objective was to create a Company building quality finished homes whilst working toward a large scale business that kept its family orientated core. Throughout these years Peter has maintained an exceptional Builder-Client relationship.
In 2009, Peter Downham and Craig Treasure formed iLiv Homes as part of the iLiv Group, and Downham Developments became part of the iLiv team. Completed construction projects include luxury homes in Broadbeach Waters, River Links Estate & Sanctuary Cove; project built homes in Upper Coomera and Pacific Pines, Display Homes, townhouse complexes and a 2,600m2 commercial building.
With the focus on the iLiv future, Downham Developments Pty Ltd registered iLiv Constructions as their new trading name in 2011.
A qualified spray painter and carpenter, Peter Downham has been part of the construction industry for over 28 years. Helping rebuild Darwin after cyclone Tracey, Peter’s path in the carpentry industry was set. Relocating to the Gold Coast in 1986, Peter continued working as a carpenter; returning to study in the early 1990’s to become a Licenced Builder. Throughout the 90’s Peter built for the Sunland Group, becoming their quality control manager during the latter years. Peter went on to form his own company in 2002.
